Bway Gala 1

3rd Annual Broadway Gala, July 26th

Thingamajig Theatre Company’s Third Annual Broadway Gala, our biggest fundraiser of the year is almost here! Doors open at 6pm with live music, hors d’oeuvres catered by theatre sponsor, Tavern Le Boeuf and backstage tours conducted by the charming performers in this summer’s repertory season.

At 7pm, performers will take the stage for a fun cabaret style show. Between the entertainment, our cast will auction off special Thingamajig delights, including a gourmet dinner at your home cooked by Joanne Irons for you and three of your choice of Thingamajig’s actors, a private performance by Little Mermaid’s “Prince Eric,” as well as voice lessons, yoga sessions, a night out with Thingamajig’s Drag Queens at Tavern Le Boeuf or you can buy an actor to come help you with your yard work!

New this year to the auction list: the super fun Photo Shoot, which might be the Best Christmas Card photo you have ever sent out! Let Thingamajig dress you up as a character from this summer’s shows! The actors will do your hair (or wig you!) and apply make up…while feeding you chocolate and champagne. Thingamajig’s costumers will make sure your fit is just right and help you look fabulous for a super fun photo shoot by Thingamajig’s photographer! What will the grandkids think when Grandma is dressed up as Ursula? The shoot is for up to 4 people max and the summer cast will join you in costume or not…your choice!

The biggest auction item will be a Spectacular Dinner Night for up to 10 people that will be cooked by the Thingamajig Summer Cast (who claim that they are all quite talented chefs) at four different homes. You and your guests will be chauffeured by the actors from home to home for appetizers, main courses, desserts, wine pairings (done by our highly trained actors who have spent way too many years as waiters) while serenade you along the way! It will be an evening like no other!

Come ready to bid, to Laugh, to be dazzled and surprised! It is our 5th Year Anniversary after all, you bet we have a surprise up our sleeves! Please get your tickets early as seating for the Gala is extremely limited.
