Get ready to roll the dice, play your hand, and find your fortune, during an exciting evening of casino-style gaming at the annual Pagosa Peak Open School Fundraising Gala: “Viva La Pagosa.”
Here’s the Deal: Saturday, October 21, 2023 at 6pm, the Pagosa Springs Center for the Arts will be transformed into a Vegas-themed casino hall filled with tables for poker, blackjack, craps, and roulette. Attendees will step into the venue adorned in their finest attire, faced with a delightful choice: dive into the excitement at the gaming tables or revel in the captivating melodies of Bob Hemenger on the dance floor. Be sure not to miss the Vegas-inspired entertainment acts and ambiance, with appearances by Sass A Frass, and other local performers.
Along with a full bar, featuring signature cocktails & mocktails, guests will also have the chance to peruse the silent auction tables where delights from local businesses and experiences can be bid on individually, or as part of specially curated themed baskets. Among the auction tables, palettes will be tantalized at the selection of small plates, meticulously crafted by the renowned MEE Hmong Cuisine, a culinary gem of Pagosa; followed by irresistible Choke Cherry Tree desserts.
Those seeking an elevated experience can upgrade to the VIP package with select perks and take-home treats.
Bring home the memories with photos, by stopping by one of our Vegas-themed photo booths, including A Little White Chapel where you may even get a surprise guest to pop in. At the end of the night, after the cards have been dealt and the dice have been rolled, players will “cash in” their chips for a chance to be one of the evening’s top jackpot winners; receiving one of many desirable prize packages.
